What an atrocious ending.
The episode isn’t, in and of itself, all bad. It’s mediocre, dealing with Jimmy’s cancer case–after three episodes (or ten in the airing order, figuring for those first season burners)–it’s finally going to trial and Jimmy isn’t cutting it. It’s another episode where Jimmy comes off as a jerk, which is getting to be a significant problem. I can’t stand him anymore.
The other story–I’ve noticed, good “Practice” episodes have more than two stories going on–is Rebecca getting threatened after witnessing a shooting. Blah blah blah.
The guest spots are good: Cliff DeYoung finally gets humanized as opposing consul on Jimmy and Ellenor’s case. Raymond Cruz is good at terrorizing Rebecca.
I didn’t notice Bobby’s suits, but I wasn’t paying much attention to them.
The ending though–well, I’ll spoil it. We’re supposed to believe Lara Flynn Boyle put out a hit, through the cops.
It’s crap.
